Mihailo Janković is listed as architect of the first tower, built from 1962 to 1964. The article gives conflicting heights, from 98 to 110 meters, and 25 floors above ground. NATO airstrikes hit it on April 21, 1999 and set the upper floors on fire, though the structure remained intact. It was unoccupied, and no one was hurt.

MPC Holding bought the building in 2002 and renovated it from 2003 to 2005, with a glass facade and two added floors for conference halls and a restaurant. Chapman Taylor designed the second tower, which opened on June 11, 2020, and the Ušće Mall interiors. The first tower's floor area is about 25,000 square meters.

The top-floor observation deck is closed to the public, with plans to reopen it. Addiko Bank leases the first four floors.
