Tsughrughasheni Church stands in the Bolnisi District of Kvemo Kartli, Georgia. It lies about a mile and a quarter from the Bolnisi Sioni Basilica, on the right bank of the Bolnisistsqali River. Construction began in 1212 and was completed in 1222. The church is traditionally linked to King George IV Lasha of the Bagrationi dynasty, who is supposed to have built it.

It follows a right-angled plan and is rich in traditional Georgian ornamentation. The church resembles twelfth- and thirteenth-century churches such as Betania, Kvatakhevi and Pitareti, but it is smaller and has a higher cupola. The exterior drum, the windows on the southern and western facades, and an inscription on the western facade are notable features.

The church is active and belongs to the Georgian Orthodox Church.
