Torrechiara Castle is a 15th-century fortress near Langhirano, in the province of Parma, Italy. It stands on a terraced hill above the Parma River valley. Pier Maria II de' Rossi, fourth count of San Secondo, commissioned it, and it was built from 1448 to 1460.
Its style reflects the Sforza castles. Four rectangular towers are linked by double walls with merlons, and the Torre del Leone serves as the keep. The Camera d'Oro has frescoes attributed to Benedetto Bembo. It was built as a defensive fortification and also as a home for Bianca Pellegrini d'Arluno, Rossi's mistress.
It became a national monument in 1911, and the Italian State bought it in 1912. After earthquake damage in 2008 it reopened in 2014.
