Franz Kaufmann of Pest was the architect of the Cathedral of St. Theresa of Avila in Subotica, Serbia. It was built from 1773 to 1779 in the Baroque style. The article names no separate client or builder. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Subotica administers it as its cathedral.

The church is 200 feet (61 m) long and 85 feet (26 m) wide, with a nave 59 feet (18 m) tall. The two bell towers are 210 feet (64 m) tall, and a statue of the Virgin Mary stands on the roof between them. The pulpit dates to 1808 and the pipe organ to 1897.

It was declared a Monument of Culture of Great Importance in 1973. Pope Paul VI granted it the title of minor basilica on April 29, 1974.
