The Shubert Theatre is a Broadway house at 225 West 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan's Theater District, near Times Square. The architect Henry Beaumont Herts designed it in the Italian Renaissance style for the Shubert brothers, Lee and J. J., who named it for their late brother Sam. It opened on October 2, 1913, with a revival of Hamlet.

The façade of brick and terracotta has sgraffito decoration, and the interior includes mythological murals and a flat, hexagonal ceiling. The Shubert Organization operates it, and it shares a lot with the Booth Theatre.

The façade and interior became New York City landmarks in 1987. Since the 1970s it has hosted long runs of musicals, including A Chorus Line and Matilda the Musical.
