The Ottoman Empire built the Shabla Lighthouse in 1856, and it is the oldest lighthouse in Bulgaria. It stands about 3 miles (5 kilometers) east of Shabla in Dobrich Province, at the easternmost point of the country. The article names no architect.

It is an octagonal limestone tower with a balcony and lantern, on a three-story basement. The tower is 118 feet (36 meters) tall, and the light sits 105 feet (32 meters) above the sea. The basement and tower are painted in white and red horizontal bands.

The light has a range of 14 nautical miles (26 kilometers) and flashes three times every 20 seconds. The article does not say whether it is currently operating.
