Kópavogur Church, or Kópavogskirkja, stands on Borgarholt hill at the top of Kársnes in Kópavogur, with views across the town and over Reykjavík. It is an active parish church of the Church of Iceland. Hörður Bjarnason and Ragnar Emilsson designed it in a Modernist style. Work began in 1958, and the church was consecrated on December 16, 1963.

Its cross section is formed by two wide arches, with a curved arch projecting in each direction and smaller arches extending below. The profile appears in the Kópavogur town seal.

Inside, an altarpiece by Steinunn Þórarinsdóttir was installed in 1990. The pictures were designed by Barbara Árnason, and a sculpture was designed by Gerður Helgadóttir. The church attracts both Icelandic and foreign visitors.
