The Heineken Experience in Amsterdam is a historic brewery and corporate visitor center for Heineken, and it is classified as an industrial museum. The industrial facility was built in 1867 as Heineken's first brewery. It remained the company's primary brewing facility until 1988, when a larger, more modern plant was built on the outskirts of the city.
The brewery opened to visitors in 1991 as the Heineken Treat and Information Centre, and by 2001 it was renamed the Heineken Experience. After about a year of remodeling, it reopened on November 3, 2008. The experience includes four levels of historical artifacts and interactive exhibits.
A 14-month renovation ran from 2021 to the end of November 2022. The brewing facility is an Anchor Point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
