The Corning Museum of Glass is a not-for-profit museum in Corning, New York, dedicated to the art, history and science of glass. Corning Glass Works founded it in 1951. Harrison & Abramovitz designed the original building, which opened that year. Gunnar Birkerts designed an addition that opened in 1980.

A renovation in 2001 used exhibition designs by Ralph Appelbaum Associates. An expansion redesigned by Thomas Phifer produced the Contemporary Art + Design Wing, which opened in 2015. Hurricane Agnes damaged the museum in 1972, and it reopened on August 1, 1972.

The collection holds more than 50,000 glass objects. The museum also has the Rakow Research Library, live Hot Glass Shows, GlassLab and a Studio with residency facilities.
