The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross stands in the Old Town of Bratislava, at the edge of St. Andrew's cemetery. Ignác Feigler Jr. designed it in the Neo-Renaissance style with Neo-Gothic features. The foundation stone was laid on May 13, 1859, and Cardinal János Scitovszky, Archbishop of Esztergom, consecrated the church on September 14, 1860.

It has belonged to the Slovak Greek Catholic Church since 1972. Since 2008 it has been the cathedral of the Eparchy of Bratislava. The liturgy is conducted in Slovak and Old Church Slavonic.

The church stands at the edge of St. Andrew's cemetery. Its foundation stone, consecration and completion all fall in 1859 and 1860.
