Amerongen Castle stands at Drostestraat 20 in Amerongen, in the Utrecht province of the Netherlands. It is in the Dutch Baroque style. It was built for Godard Adriaan van Reede and his wife, Margaretha Turnor, on the site of a medieval castle that the French burned in 1673. The text gives the building years as 1674 to 1680, while the infobox lists 1662.
Willem van Nimwegen painted the ceiling of the main hall. The gardens include a conservatory from the 1890s and an orangerie from the 1880s. A wooden clock tower from 1728 holds its original clock.
In 1918 the German Kaiser Wilhelm II signed his abdication at the castle. He stayed until 1920. The castle was restored from 2002 to 2011 and is now a museum.
